This is a steel rolling tool cart well suited for ... Morestorage under workbenches like the Gladiator or Craftsman ones (see below). This is the lowest price I've seen, with $50 in points easily achievable, for a very good grade of cabinet that is markedly better than the "Home" grade stuff.
= locking; locks from rear so a bit more secure, though it is after all just a cabinet
= ball-bearing drawer slides are of good quality, though only 50lb instead of the professional grade 100lb.
= includes rubber liners for top and drawers, very useful to keep tools from rolling about.
= 500lb lockable casters
I bought the 6' Craftsman Workbench for $288 w/ $50 back in points from last week.
Then bought this for $109 + Socket Wrench set (someone "borrowed mine") for $9.99 & a Strap Wrench for $6.99. Promotion is $50 bonus CB on top of regular CB points for $125 spent on tools. Total was $126.99.
Stacked the two bonus points together from bench and cabinet to buy a second cabinet with barely anything out of pocket. So in the end I got the 6' bench, two cabinets, socket set, strap wrench, for ~$400.
This unit is 32.5" and slides perfectly with room to spare under the table when set around 34" table height (not counting the backsplash). I can lay hammers, etc easily on top and still slide it underneath. Two cabinets will fit side by side underneath with a few inches in between. However, having two means no sitting with legs under the table; but that is fine since this is a standing setup for me.
